Hugin defish2/20/2023 ![]() Im so tired of this misleading concept of fish eye, people on gaming forums loves to spread. Id love to see your process for defishing these images in AE. This is not fish eye effect, its perspective projection distortion (or just perspective distortion for short, here is explaination ), actual fisheye effect is what removes this distortion but makes everything look like its inside some sort of bouble. The software allows you to specify the projection and properly deal with it. By default, Hugin assumes that you intend to create a full 360 degree equirectangular panorama, but in this case you need to remap the output to the same rectilinear format as the input image.
